About Winslow

Winslow's passion is leading a healthy, active lifestyle and helping others do the same. He has been working out, Studying fitness and nutrition, and applying his knowledge to optimize his own health for over 15 years. A trainer for 5 years, Winslow holds a personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE).

He loves to challenge himself with hiking, backpacking long distance cycling, rock and ice climbing, weightlifting, running and mountaineering. He knows what gets results! One summer's fun, for example, consisted of an 1,800 mile self supported solo tour of the western half of the country on his (heavily loaded) single speed bicycle. He has also climbed alpine peaks in Colorado and Washington.

When training a client, Winslow is aware that boredom is a major hurdle for program adherence. To make it easier and more fun, workouts will consist of fresh fun movements that keep your body guessing and progressing. The fastest and best results come from continually challenging the body to adapt. The variety will keep your mind happy, too.

Winslow finds great inspiration in seeing others reach their fitness goals. You too, can get the body you want and achieve optimum fitness and vitality. In Winslow, you will find a receptive ear for your personal vision - Whether its to loose weight, increase flexibility, add muscle, or build functional strength.
